SWAMPDOG HAS SEEDS!
I just finished sowing my seeds - over 50 different species! Wait-"In January?" you say? The seeds of many of our native plants require a cold, moist period (like winter) to germinate in the spring. So, we plant our seeds in the fall and winter and tuck away the flats outdoors to wait patiently for spring to arrive.
Interested in growing your own plants from seeds?
I have lots of leftover native plant seeds for sale, just $3/packet!
Please see the plant list below. All seeds were harvested at my farm this past fall. I have a very limited and varying quantity of seeds for each species listed; so first come, first served! I can mail to your home or arrange for pickup.
Email me at swampdognatives@gmail.com if interested in purchasing.
Note: 'GC' in the table indicates the seed germination code.
Germination Codes
A: Cold stratification not needed
C(#): Cold, moist stratification (# of days to stratify)
